This new Korean restaurant offers Chapagetti

This new retro KBBQ restaurant @baesikdang1969 offers premium pork from Jeju island. They are known for their 3mm Ultra-Thin Sliced Pork Belly which is very tender and fatty.

They also offer Korean stews and comfort food like Kimchi fried rice and chapagetti.

The restaurant concept is simple and unpretentious - just pure comfort Korean food prepared in the most authentic way. Food overall is decent.

Seating is limited. Do make reservations if you plan to head down.

Do also take note that they are still in their soft launch period so operational timings are subjected to changes. Do check in with them before heading down. Their granding opening is on 1 May.

🤑:

Pork cuts ($26 to $36)

Soft tofu stew ($20)

Soybean stew ($22)

Kimchi fried rice ($14) (plain)

Chapagetti ($24)

... Read moreIf you're a fan of Korean cuisine, Bae Sik Dang is definitely worth checking out. Their focus on authentic ingredients like the premium pork from Jeju island sets them apart from other Korean BBQ spots here. I especially appreciate how they keep their menu simple yet flavorful, featuring classics such as kimchi fried rice and chapagetti — a Korean-Italian fusion noodle dish that's hard to find elsewhere. From my experience, the 3mm ultra-thin sliced pork belly was incredibly tender and had just the right amount of fat that melted in my mouth. The stew options, including soft tofu stew and soybean stew, offer authentic Korean home-style comfort food, perfect for a cozy meal. The prices are reasonable given the quality, ranging from $14 for kimchi fried rice to $36 for pork cuts. Since seating is limited, I recommend making reservations in advance to avoid waiting. Also, note their operational hours might change during this soft launch period, so checking their current schedule before visiting is a good idea. Overall, Bae Sik Dang serves delicious Korean dishes in an unpretentious setting, making it a perfect spot for casual Korean dining in Singapore.
