One of my absolute favorite ways to kickstart deep thinking is by writing 'advice to my younger self.' I often imagine I'm writing to my 13-year-old self, sharing wisdom, comfort, and encouragement. This exercise really makes you reflect on your past experiences, the lessons you've learned, and how much you've grown. It’s incredibly cathartic and helps put your current challenges into perspective. What would you tell your past self? What advice would have changed things for you? It's a fantastic prompt for uncovering deeper insights.
Another powerful technique I swear by is cultivating a gratitude practice. It sounds simple, but consciously listing things you're grateful for, big or small, can profoundly shift your mindset.
