just bc u saw 2 girls online outing men for glancing at them, doesn’t mean we’re all like that🤷🏼♀️
From my experience, the conversation around men glancing at women often gets misunderstood. Just because a few women speak up online about feeling uncomfortable doesn’t mean all women share the same reactions. For example, I've noticed many women accept casual glances as harmless—there’s a difference between looking and staring or harassing. I remember going to the gym where sometimes guys glance in my direction, but as long as it’s respectful and doesn’t involve lingering stares or comments, it usually doesn’t bother me. It’s important to recognize the boundaries: admiration or appreciation of someone’s appearance isn’t the same as making them feel objectified or unsafe. Furthermore, I've observed online debates where people say, “If you wear certain clothes, expect attention,” which can be a problematic mindset because it overlooks the importance of consent and personal comfort. People can look without harassment. For instance, phrases from the OCR text like "I know that stare at me you don't harass touch me anything" emphasize that looking is natural but should never cross into inappropriate behavior. What really matters is respectful behavior—acknowledging if someone feels uncomfortable and adjusting accordingly. Overall, the key is communication, empathy, and understanding that women’s experiences and comfort levels vary widely when it comes to being glanced at or approached in public.
