Flan Makeup 🍮
This makeup is inspired by flan! 🤭🍮 I decided to create it based off warm brown tones! #lemon8partner #makeup #makeuptutorial #fyp #flanmakeup
Beyond just a delicious dessert, the 'flan aesthetic' has quickly become one of my favorite makeup trends! When I first heard about 'flan makeup,' I was instantly drawn to the idea of capturing that warm, inviting, and slightly golden glow. For me, it's all about achieving a natural radiance that feels both effortless and polished, much like the dessert itself – smooth, creamy, and subtly shimmering. What truly defines the flan aesthetic in makeup? It's a harmonious blend of warm, caramel-like brown tones, a dewy finish, and a soft, diffused glow. Think less about sharp contours and more about blending seamlessly to create a healthy, sun-kissed look. It’s perfect for anyone who loves a 'my skin but better' vibe with a touch of warmth. To truly nail this look, I always start with a hydrating base. I’ve found that using something like illuminating drops, similar to the 'Glow Recipe Hue Drops,' really preps the skin for that luminous finish. Instead of heavy foundations, I opt for a lightweight skin tint or just a touch of concealer in areas needing extra coverage, perhaps a shade like 'Hourglass concealer in oat' for a brightening effect. The key is to let your natural skin shine through. If I need to set anything, a very fine, translucent powder, like the 'Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder in fair,' applied sparingly, keeps everything in place without looking cakey. For the eyes, I gravitate towards soft, matte warm browns from a palette like 'Makeup by Mario master mattes.' I apply a neutral brown in the crease and a slightly deeper shade on the outer corner, blending it out for a soft, smoky effect. Sometimes, I’ll add a subtle wing using a brown liner, like a 'Maybelline liner in espressotini,' to define my eyes without overpowering the soft aesthetic. The cheeks are where the flan glow truly comes alive! I love a good bronzer to sculpt and add warmth – a product similar to 'Patrick Ta bronzer in she's sculpted' works wonders to give that healthy, sun-kissed dimension. Then, a peachy or warm brown blush, like 'Patrick Ta blush in she's flushing,' adds a flush of color that looks incredibly natural. To complete the radiant look, a liquid or cream highlighter, such as 'Iconic London highlighter in Lit & Luminous,' dabbed on the high points of my face, provides that soft, lit-from-within glow without being glittery. And for a touch of youthful charm, a few delicate faux freckles created with a 'Jason Wu freckle pen' can really enhance the natural, soft look. Finally, for the lips, it’s all about warmth and shine. I usually line my lips with a warm nude shade, like a 'Kylie Cosmetics lip liner in pecan,' and then fill them in with a satin-finish lipstick in a complementing warm tone, such as 'MAC lipstick in honey love.' To finish, a generous swipe of a glossy, caramel-toned lip gloss, like 'NYX lip gloss in fortune cookie,' pulls the whole flan aesthetic together, making them look plump and irresistible. This 'flan makeup' look isn't just a trend; it's become a staple in my routine. It's incredibly versatile, perfect for everyday wear, but can also be dressed up with a bit more intensity. I find it universally flattering, enhancing natural beauty with a delicious, warm embrace. Give it a try – you might just fall in love with this sweet aesthetic too!
