Taking My Life Back

There was a time I almost lost myself, but God never let me go. He saved me, and today, I stand stronger, wiser, and more grateful than ever. The journey hasn’t been easy, but looking back, I see just how far I’ve come—and I’m so proud of myself and so Grateful to God.

I am surrounded by love, and I want to continue pouring that love into myself so I can give it to my future husband, my children, and everyone who loves me - I want to love them the way they deserved to be loved and the way God wants me to love them.

This is a new season for me. I’m starting my weight loss journey again (for the millionth time😂😂😂, but that’s okay we’ll get it right this time and we stay locked in!), I’m reading more, hitting the gym again, taking my skincare and health seriously, and locked in🔐with nursing school(we getting this degree by the grace of God). Most importantly, I am rekindling my relationship with my Father, my God, who has never left my side.

I am growing. I am healing. I am becoming the woman I was always meant to be. And for that, I am forever grateful.

Here’s to loving me the way I deserve—so I can love others the way they deserve. Here’s to a fresh start. Here’s to me! 💛

As many embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, embracing self-love becomes a crucial step towards personal growth. This journey often begins with acknowledgment—recognizing one’s worth and the importance of prioritizing mental and physical health. Surrounding ourselves with supportive communities can be pivotal; peers who share similar struggles provide encouragement and foster a sense of belonging. Implementing lifestyle changes—like committing to regular exercise, embracing healthy eating, and nurturing spiritual connections—can lead to significant transformations. Journaling, meditating, and setting realistic goals are also effective strategies. Through this journey, individuals find strength within themselves, inspiring others to take those important first steps towards healing. Remember, it’s about progress, not perfection. The path may be challenging, but every small victory is worth celebrating on the road to reclaiming one’s life.
