Tell me you have ADHD without telling me….

Tell me you have ADHD without telling me you have ADHD 👇

I’ll go first:

🪥 Walking around the house while brushing my teeth and doing other chores mid-brush (and somehow losing my toothbrush… every. single. day.)

🚪 Leaving every cabinet + drawer wide open like a ghost lives here

📱 Using “Find My iPhone” 3x a day… in my own house

🧺 Rewashing the same load of laundry 3 times because I forgot about it

🎂 Forgetting birthdays + appointments even with 4 reminders set

🚶‍♀️ Walking into a room, doing a full lap, and forgetting why I went in there in the first place

ADHD life = pure chaos, but at least it’s a little entertaining sometimes 🤪

What’s YOUR “tell me without telling me” ADHD moment?

... Read moreLiving with ADHD often means navigating a unique blend of challenges and moments filled with both frustration and humor. Everyday tasks can turn into puzzles: losing the toothbrush while brushing, leaving cabinet doors open, or using "Find My iPhone" multiple times a day inside your own home highlight the difficulties with attention and memory. ADHD is often characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, affecting executive functions such as planning, organizing, and prioritizing. Forgetting birthdays and appointments despite multiple reminders is a common experience, demonstrating difficulties with working memory and time management. Many adults with ADHD, especially women, experience these symptoms silently or with a touch of humor as a coping mechanism. Walking into a room and forgetting the original reason is an example of absent-mindedness linked with ADHD’s impact on focus and task switching. Recognizing these "tell me you have ADHD without telling me" moments helps build a supportive community where people share relatable stories and reduce stigma. Resources and strategies like using digital reminders, establishing routines, and mindfulness can assist in managing symptoms. However, understanding and acceptance from family, friends, and workplaces are equally important. The hashtags #ADHDWomen, #Neurodivergent, #ADHDHumor, #adhd, and #adhdinwomen reflect growing awareness and dialogue online, encouraging more individuals to embrace their neurodiverse identity and find solidarity. This article taps into the universal, daily experiences of those with ADHD, making it easier to relate and raise awareness about the realities of living with this condition beyond clinical descriptions.

Keeping an ADHD mind engaged (without overwhelming it)
Living with ADHD as a mom… and raising a child with AuDHD has taught me something big: we don’t need to be controlled — we need to feel interested, understood, and in control. I see it in my child, and I see it in myself too. When we’re bored, everything feels harder. When we’re overwhelmed,

My Non-Negotiables for ADHD cleaning
1. Always fold laundry the minute you take it out of the dryer - If you don’t do this, you and I both know it will never be folded. It will either live wrinkled in a doom laundry basket or mix with the floor, and then you will have no idea if it’s clean or not. FYI - it’s not. 2. Smaller laundry l
