Eat this during your period

During your period it is helpful to work with your body and eat what helps. Since your hormones change and you experience symptoms such as cramps tiredness bloating there are foods that can make a difference. Here I is what I like to eat. -I like to stay away from caffeine and instead have tea. I like having chamomile tea. The warmth of the tea is soothing and relaxing. The tea also helps with bloating and cramps.

- I like to have vegetables that are rich in iron such as beets. I have heavy periods so this is beneficial for me.

- It’s very important to eat nutritious foods with protein such as fish. Fish also helps regulate your hormones. This is very helpful if you have irregular periods.

Incorporate chamomile tea, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, to alleviate cramps and reduce bloating. Additionally, iron-rich vegetables like beets are essential, especially if you experience heavy periods, as they help replenish lost iron. Protein sources such as fish can regulate hormones and balance your energy levels, providing the nourishment your body craves during this time. Balance is key; remember to hydrate and consider whole grains and fruits to support overall health. These dietary choices not only relieve discomfort but also empower your body to function optimally during menstruation.
