Be who God called you to be

It's so easy to feel the pressure to fit into molds, isn't it? I've definitely been there, trying to be someone I'm not, feeling like I'm shrinking to fit expectations that aren't truly mine. But lately, I've really been focusing on what it means to truly stop shrinking to fit places God never called you to be. This journey of discovering and living out your divine calling is deeply personal, connecting you to your authentic self and strengthening your relationship with God and me. Think about the incredible women in the Bible! Figures like Esther, who bravely used her position to save her people; Deborah, a wise judge and prophetess who led her nation; or Mary, who accepted an impossible task with unwavering faith. They didn't shrink from their unique, often challenging, callings. Their stories remind us that God equips those He calls, giving us the strength and wisdom to step into our purpose, even when it feels daunting or unconventional. These powerful women show us that our divine purpose is worth fighting for, worth embracing fully. Building this relationship with God and me isn't always straightforward. It involves prayer, quiet reflection, soaking in His word, and often, a patient listening to discern where He's leading. For me, it's about checking in daily, asking myself, 'Am I honoring the person God created me to be? Or am I trying to force myself into a role or situation that isn't truly mine?' This constant self-assessment helps me recognize if I'm living authentically in His will, or if I'm allowing external pressures to dictate my path. And the beautiful thing is, we absolutely don't have to do it alone! The concept of encourage one another ministries, or simply being part of a supportive Christian community, is so vital. Sharing our struggles and triumphs, praying for each other, and reminding each other of God's faithfulness can make all the difference. It's in these connections that we find the courage to keep growing, to resist the urge to shrink back into old habits or fears, and to truly step into the fullness of God's plan for our lives. So, if you're feeling a bit lost, unsure of your path, or struggling with imposter syndrome, remember this: God has a unique and wonderful purpose for YOU. Don't hide your gifts, don't try to conform to what others expect, and certainly don't shrink from the incredible potential He's placed within you. Embrace your divine calling, nurture your relationship with Him, and let's lift each other up as we walk in the incredible purpose He has for each of us.
