The Best Chili

Ingredients:

-2lbs ground beef

-2 15oz cans kidney beans, drained

-1 15oz can pinto beans, drained

-1 15oz can black beans, drained

-2 28oz cans diced tomatoes

-1 6oz can tomato paste

-1 large onion, chopped

-1 red bell pepper, chopped

-2 cups beef broth

-3 tbsp chili powder

-1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

-minced garlic

-1 tbsp dried oregano

-2 tsp cumin

-1 tsp dried basil

-1 tsp salt

-1 tsp pepper

-1 tsp paprika

Directions:

1. In a large pot, brown beef with onions, pepper, and garlic. Drain and return to pot.

2. Add beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Season with spices and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine then cover and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

3. After 2 hours, stir and adjust spices as needed.

4. Remove from heat and enjoy!

My go to fall recipe! I serve my chili with crushed Frito chips, sour cream, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions. Use whatever you like! Try it and let me know what you think!

just made it, i halfed everything but the beans (accept for kidney, which i subbed out for chili beans and only did one can) and tomato. just for me and my husband, and it still cooked up to a lot of food. i also tossed in some walmart chili seasoning (i put a lot bc i was trying to subsidize the flavor, bc i didn’t have enough tomato paste in my tube). served with sour cream, shredded cheese, diced onion, bacon bits, and corn bread is so so so good 😭
