I didn’t know what to expect when I picked this book up. I was just supporting another black author. But baby this was a really good book. The beginning was mid. But it got really good and shocking towards the middle and especially the ending. With only 15 chapters in it, that was a plot twist I NEVER saw coming. That was what truly made the book amazing.
