The scary thing is that it often shows no signs of kidney failure.
See you eat well, play naughty, don't trust! 😿 "Kidney disease" is the top threat that takes your cat away from us...The scary thing is, it often shows no signs until more than 75% of kidneys are damaged!
The doctor understood that just hearing the name of the disease, the slave heart fell to the blister... 💔 But don't despair! If we "know quickly," we can "fight" and prolong the time of happiness. 💪
Let's check if your children at home have three alarms?
💧 Eat a lot of water & Pee unusually often: (This slave is often glad that the baby eats water well, but it may actually be the first sign!) Because the kidneys are deteriorating, unable to absorb water back as well, they have to eat a lot of water and pee out and fade clear.
📉 Weight Loss & Anorexia: From where ever a tight body starts to get smaller, grabs and finds ribs, hairs start to dry coarsely, not shine, seep down, not cheerful as old (like a hero whose power starts to run out)
🤢 Bad breath & frequent vomiting: (Not just a lump!) When the kidneys can't drive waste, waste accumulates in the blood (Uremia), causing mouth ulcers, strong bad breath, and stomach irritation until vomiting.
🛡️ Primary care guidelines (fight together!):
Adjusting "food and water" is the heart! (As in the picture)
Clean water must always be ready: Encourage a lot of water, may use a cat fountain, or place a cup of water at several points.
Appropriate food: Should consult a doctor to adjust to "kidney treatment food" or if making "homemade food" (such as boiled chicken in the picture) must not be seasoned and should be under the veterinarian's advice on nutrition proportion (the primary is energy per weight per day).
📌 And to all cat slaves: The annual kidney check blood test is the best way to prevent it!
