What exactly is zentangle, you ask? It's a method of drawing structured patterns, often called 'tangles,' in a meditative way. You can also try creating decorative patterns drawing inspiration from checkerboards, scales, or just simple repetitive dots. These simple easy line patterns are so satisfying to complete. Don't forget about zentangle stripes! These can be straightforward parallel lines, or you can play with their thickness and spacing to create a sense of depth. For those who like a bit more structure, zentangle geometric patterns are also a lot of fun. While I often gravitate towards organic, incorporating simple squares, triangles, or circles and filling them with intricate details can lead to really cool designs. To make your creative doodle art stand out, play with contrast. Filling some areas completely black while leaving others outlined white can make your patterns pop. Don't be afraid to add a touch of color too!
