"My oldest son, who is 16, told me he wanted to become a professional boxer. But I stopped him right there and said, 'You're crazy! You went to private school! You can't be a boxer. You've traveled the world, you've seen Europe, and you can't fight like that. You want to fight guys like me? Tough, rough people? I don’t want my kids to go through that, it’s degrading. Boxing is something you do when you have nothing left. It takes a lot of sacrifices, pain, and suffering. I took those hits so my kids wouldn’t have to. When I look at them, I see kids who went to school, who live a middle-class life, and can do whatever they want. Boxing is about wanting to be the best, to beat everyone. I don’t want to put that kind of pressure on them.'
