A new bubble tea spot just landed in town 👀 Originating from Fujian, China, you can now find CHACHAO (茶巢) at B3 of 313@Somerset, and if you’re a fruity drink girly like me, this one’s for you.
Here’s what I tried:
🍇 Honeysuckle Green Grape
Huge chunks of juicy green grapes + a super prominent honeysuckle floral note. This was insanely refreshing in SG’s heat. It also came with white pearls (!!!) which I love for that soft, jelly-jelly bite. Light, fragrant, and very easy to finish.
🥭 Mango Pomelo Sago
When I say FULL of ingredients… I mean it. Half the cup was mango chunks, pomelo bits, and loads of sago pearls. This is basically dessert disguised as a drink: thick, indulgent, and 100% a calorie bomb but zero regrets.
🍉 Watermelon Coconut
Never tried this combo before and I’m pleasantly surprised. Sweet watermelon chunks + creamy coconut milk worked really well together, and I loveee the pastel pink colour.
💡 Tip: Go for less sweet!
And that’s coming from someone with a serious sweet tooth. I ordered normal sweet and it was still quite sweet even after the ice melted.
Overall: Definitely worth trying if you love fruit-heavy, liao-packed drinks. I’ll be back to test their milk teas next time I’m around 👀✨

Besides the fruit-heavy drinks, Chachao will be launching milk teas soon, which I plan to try next time. For anyone looking for bubble tea with a fresher, fruit-focused twist rather than just the typical milk teas, Chachao’s menu is definitely worth exploring. Their unique combinations like watermelon coconut milk are refreshing and visually appealing, making it a great spot for anyone who loves inventive bubble tea flavors.
