Instructions:
1. Prep the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasoning stick better and ensures a crispier texture when cooking.
2. Make the Blackened Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
3. Season the Fish: Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil (or melted butter), then generously coat both sides of the fillets with the blackened seasoning mix. Make sure to press the seasoning into the salmon for maximum flavor.
4. Cook the Salmon: Air Fryer Option: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.
