Another one of my favorite outdoor activities. Last year I was diagnosed with a vitamin D deficiency. The most effective way to increase vitamin D is sun exposure. Normal levels are between 30-60, mine was a whopping 18. Low vitamin D can cause increased anxiety, depression, fatigue, low bone density, osteoporosis, and even tooth decay. I used leftover seeds from last year and an empty egg carton. I spent a grand total of $10. Super easy and affordable. Seeds are also relatively cheap depending on what you are growing.
