One thing I found particularly helpful was creating a consistent daily routine. This helped my toddler feel secure and reduced their need for constant attention, giving me slight pockets of calm to attend to the baby. Using interactive and age-appropriate activities for the toddler also helped channel their energy productively, which in turn minimized tantrums or overstimulation. It's also important to accept help when it comes knocking because parenting two young children isn’t a solo journey. Whether it's a partner, family member, or friend, sharing responsibilities occasionally can make a significant difference in mental well-being. Lastly, humor is a lifesaver. Sharing funny kid moments or even silly mishaps can lighten your mood and remind you you're not alone in this hectic journey.
