✨30 and Still Figuring It Out — and That’s Okay✨

When I was 20, I swore I’d have everything figured out by 30…

Well — I’m 30 now, and I definitely don’t.

But you know what? I’ve never felt more aligned. 🤍

Somewhere along the way, we started treating 30 like a deadline:

✔️ Dream job

✔️ Financial freedom

✔️ Perfect body

✔️ Ideal life

But life doesn’t follow checklists — it unfolds.

And everyone’s timeline is different.

In my 30s, I’m learning to:

🌿 Be Patient

I used to rush through everything — chasing goals and missing the beauty in the now.

🌿 Stop Comparing

Someone else’s highlight reel isn’t your behind-the-scenes. I no longer measure my worth against other people’s timelines.

🌿 Embrace My Imperfections

I don’t need perfect skin, hair, body, or life. I need peace.

🌿 Be Happy With Less

Happiness doesn’t come from “stuff.”

It comes from alignment, ease, and real joy.

And most of all —

💫 It’s okay to still be figuring it out at 30.

💫 It’s okay to want something different.

💫 It’s okay to chase new dreams.

💫 It’s okay to not have a 5-year plan.

You’re not behind — you’re just becoming. 🦋

And if no one’s told you today: You’re doing just fine.

This app feels like a fresh start.

I never expected to feel this seen — or this excited — to share real pieces of my life. 🫶

... Read moreReaching your 30s can often feel like a daunting milestone with societal pressures to have achieved certain benchmarks, such as a dream job, financial independence, or physical perfection. However, it’s important to recognize that life is not a checklist but an evolving journey unique to each individual. Many people experience a sense of alignment and peace despite not having every aspect of life figured out by this age. Patience becomes a crucial virtue in your 30s, as rushing often leads to overlooking the beauty of the present moment. Embracing your imperfections—whether related to body image, career progress, or lifestyle choices—fosters self-acceptance and reduces unnecessary stress. It’s beneficial to stop comparing your behind-the-scenes to other people’s highlight reels, especially in an age dominated by curated social media portrayals. Happiness stems less from material acquisitions and more from internal alignment, ease, and genuine joy. Allowing yourself to want something different or to change dreams without a rigid five-year plan reflects emotional maturity and adaptability. Ultimately, the transition into your 30s is about becoming your authentic self and honoring your unique pace of growth. The phrase “30 and Still Figuring It Out” embodies the mindset that it’s okay not to have all answers yet. This perspective can inspire those approaching or within their 30s to relieve the pressure of meeting arbitrary deadlines and instead focus on personal development, self-compassion, and mindful living. By shifting focus from external expectations to internal well-being, this decade can be a fulfilling chapter of transformation and realignment.

Figuring out dinner every single day used to be my nemesis
One of the easiest ways to reduce mental load is to stop reinventing dinner every night. You don’t need 30 new recipes. You need 10-15 meals your family already enjoys. A simple meal rotation turns dinner from a daily problem into a routine. The goal isn’t exciting. The goal is easy.
