Meal prepping is hard for me, but I never regret doing it! Today I decided to really commit to healthy meal preps for the week to make it easier on myself throughout the week!
First I made breakfast sandwiches with whole wheat English muffins, scrambled eggs, a slice of cheese, and some turkey bacon with cucumbers and pretzel thins on the side for my husbands lunches! I make his lunches for him and I love that it’s something I can do to show him I love him everyday!
The next meal I prepped are blackened chicken bites! They’re so easy and so yummy! I just cube some chicken, pour a tiny bit of olive oil over, and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper! I throw in the airfryer on 400 for about 10 mins and they’re delicious!
The next meal I prepped was pizza stuffed chicken! All I did for this one was pounded out the chicken until it was thin, spread some pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni, and some shredded mozzarella cheese in the middle, folded it up tightly in half and seasoned with creole seasoning! I’ll throw this in the airfryer as well!
I finished off with some protein muffins! These will be good to grab in the mornings or take to work as an afternoon snack!

Start by planning your meals. Consider recipes that are versatile and can be easily stored, like breakfast sandwiches or protein muffins, which make for great grab-and-go options. Incorporating a variety of flavors and ingredients is crucial. For instance, try marinating chicken with spices for added taste and pairing it with fresh veggies for balanced nutrition.
Also, think about how to safely store your prepped meals. Use airtight containers to keep your food fresh and make labeling each container with the food name and date will help prevent waste. You can also dedicate specific days to different types of meals to keep your diet exciting. For example, dedicate one day to prepping lunch items like salad jars or stir-fried vegetables.
Utilizing kitchen gadgets, like an air fryer, can significantly cut down on cooking time while providing delicious results. Experiment with creating lunch and dinner mixtures that can be reheated without losing quality. Don't forget about snacks; protein muffins can be frozen, taken to work, and enjoyed throughout the week. Following these tips will not only enhance the meal prep experience but also encourage healthier eating habits that fit your lifestyle.
