FREE things to do in college

part of college is being a little broke… or a lot… so here are some free things to do in college when you’re ballin on a budget!

🍋 getting active is a great way to not only keep your body healthy, but to fuel your mind. take a break from studying and boost your endorphins by going to the gym and lifting weights or taking a walk/run around campus! using the streets your college town is always a good way to get to know the area and what it has to offer!

🍋 being in nature always helps to reconnect and feel grounded. after long days of studying, getting outside and being present puts the mind at ease. even studying in nature at a park or beach is a great way to focus and make studying less painful!

🍋 hanging out with friends is a personal favorite because my friends always make me feel comfortable and welcome. it’s a perfect way for me to remind myself of what’s important and my friends always give me reasons to remain grateful. just talking in the dorms never fails to make me laugh and smile and just be thankful of the life i get to live :)

You might discover beautiful parks, quiet study spots, or scenic routes that enhance your college experience. Additionally, immersing yourself in nature has endless benefits. Consider studying outdoors at a park or beach. The fresh air and natural scenery can improve your focus and make studying feel less tedious. Nature has a way of calming the mind and reinvigorating your spirit after long study sessions. Furthermore, one of the greatest joys of college is the friendships you create. Spending time with friends can lead to some of your most cherished memories. Whether it's indulging in late-night chats in the dorm or simply hanging out in communal spaces, these moments provide invaluable emotional support and enrich your college journey. Taking a break from the academic grind to share laughs and conversations with friends is essential for maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Lastly, don’t forget to take advantage of campus resources. Many colleges offer free activities, workshops, and events that can be both fun and educational. Get involved, meet new people, and make the most of your college days without overspending!
