If you’re in the thick of it right now (or know someone who is) ❤️🩹👇🏼
The sickness, the exhaustion, the overwhelm—
trying to take care of everyone while running on empty
I just want you to know:
You’re doing better than you think you are 💕
Your kids don’t see the mess or the chaos… they see YOU.
And to them, you’re everything.
This season won’t last forever… but the way you showed up for them in it will 🤍
If you’re in survival mode right now too, I see you!! You’re not alone
TAG (or SEND to) a mama you know who is doing a really great freaking job 🫶🏼
From personal experience, managing a household during times of illness and stress is truly one of the toughest challenges any mom can face. When the whole family is under the weather, the house feels like it’s in chaos — schedules vanish, energy depletes, and survival mode takes over. It’s important to recognize that just making it through the day is a huge accomplishment. Cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes become essential allies, and the usual routines give way to flexibility and patience. I’ve learned that kids are incredibly resilient and, more importantly, they connect to the care and presence you provide, not the perfectly tidy house or flawless schedule. Even if you feel like you’re barely holding on, your children see your love and strength. This kind of season—characterized by exhaustion and messiness—is temporary. What stays with your children are the moments you show up for them, even when you feel like you have nothing left to give. It’s okay to acknowledge when you’re just surviving instead of thriving; sometimes that is exactly what life demands, and that survival itself is an act of love. If you’re navigating similar struggles, remember you’re not alone in this. Reach out for support, lean on your mom community, and remind yourself daily that you’re doing an incredible job. Tagging a fellow mom who’s in the trenches can uplift and remind her that her efforts are seen and valued. We’re all in this together, surviving, supporting, and loving through the chaos.
