Your prayers are answered
A mother from Round Rock, Texas is living through every parent’s worst nightmare.
“I dropped my daughter off at school healthy,” she said, “and hours later, I got her back fighting for her life.”
According to Alliyah, the terrifying situation began on January 12 when she took her young daughter, a child with special needs, to Hutto Elementary School like any normal day. Her daughter showed no signs of illness or injury when she was left in the school’s care.
Later that day, Alliyah received a phone call that changed everything.
She was told her daughter had fallen from a chair estimated to be around two feet high, struck her head, and had reportedly remained unconscious for nearly 40 minutes.
But for the mother, the questions only became more painful afterward.
Alliyah says her daughter was moved before proper spinal stabilization measures were taken, and shockingly, no member of the school staff accompanied the child in the ambulance to the hospital.
Once doctors examined her, the severity of the injuries became devastatingly clear.
The young girl required emergency surgery on her spine. Doctors also discovered bleeding in her brain and evidence of a stroke.
Now, she remains in critical condition, connected to a breathing machine while doctors continue fighting to save her life. According to her mother, she later developed pneumonia caused by a bacterial infection acquired after surgery in the hospital, and her lungs are now struggling badly.
Despite everything, this little girl is still holding on.
Her mother says she feels lost, terrified, and unsure of what steps to take next. More than anything, she is asking people to keep her daughter in their prayers during this unimaginable battle.
Whether this tragedy was simply a terrible accident or something more, one thing is certain — a family is suffering deeply right now, and a mother is desperately hoping for her child to survive.
