Homemade Fluffy Vanilla Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

3 large eggs

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

2cups all-purpose flour

1tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1cup whole milk

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 8-inch cake pan with parchment paper.

Cream butter and sugar together for 5 minutes until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Do not overmix.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
