We're working on the system, right?
PLAN - DO - CHECK - ACT
The principle is simple, but why do many teams actually adopt "not yet work"?
Many organizations recognize PDCA.
Many teams used to train PDCA.
But few teams "actually use PDCA" in their daily work.
The problem isn't because PDCA doesn't work.
But because "the team got it wrong" from the beginning,
.
1.PLAN - Plan... but not yet a good plan.
Many teams call it a "plan."
But really, it's just a "to-do list."
❌ Target unclear.
❌ don't know who's responsible for what.
❌ Not defined indicators of success.
When the plan wasn't clear, → hands were lost in the first place.
A good plan. You have to answer that.
What to do / Who to do / How to measure
.
2.DO - Act... but without discipline
Many teams actually "do."
But different people do different ways, different ways, different standards.
❌ doesn't have the same guidelines.
❌ solve the problem face to day.
❌'t record what happened along the way.
Finally, when there is a problem
I don't know where to miss it.
3.CHECK - Check... but can't check
This is the step that many teams skip the most.
❌ dare not talk about things that fail.
❌ just the work, but not the "process."
❌ Use feelings instead of real information.
Good CHECK
It's not finding the wrong person.
But to find a point that should be adjusted.
4.ACT - Improved... but never capped
Many teams are good at "lesson summaries."
But never took it to the next round
❌. Just temporarily adjusted.
❌ not made to a new standard.
❌ The same problem is back.
PDCA will be complete.
Only if the ACT is actually deployed in the next round.
.
PDCA did not fail.
But the failed team is the team
Use PDCA "Complete"
But it never makes "results."
Teams that actually use PDCA
Is the team that
✔ Talk clearly before you start.
✔ works in the same system.
✔ dare to check, dare to adjust
✔ Continue to learn and develop.
Because finally,
Team development is not a beautiful framework.
But it's really "systematic."
