This probably isn’t for you (but what if it is?)

My books are for the girl who loves Jesus but faces darkness, who fights sin but knows her failures all too well. For the girl who hasn’t had the luxury of a perfect, safe, and sheltered upbringing. For the girl who reads popular YA fiction and nothing shocks her anymore. She’s already seen it all. Now, she is just trying to survive.

A Survival Guide Disguised As Fantasy

That phase really resonates with the stories I write.

When my books are placed in readers hands, I pray it’s at a time when they need to be reminded that “not giving up” goes hand in hand with “surrender all to Jesus”.

I pray that she is excited for the suspense, resonates with the heartbreak, and feels that the hope and solace for the characters is available for her as well.

I pray that when she remembers this book, she doesn’t just recall the story and characters, but that the themes echo within her heart, a reminder that she is never forgotten, never abandoned, never rejected.

That she is always wanted, always treasured, always loved.

That she would close this book and open her Bible, and be able to see that Esther and Ruth were girls just like her, imperfect and searching for a way to survive when life dealt them a cruel hand. But that they were not alone and God was not surprised by the twists in their stories.

Instead, He shined light in the darkest nights, illuminating shadows and silencing the lies.

These stories belong to Him.

They belong to her.

I wrote them for you.

A CROWN OF CHAINS is a fantasy retelling of Queen Esther, with fresh twists based on the original context that is sure to thrill in this timeless tale of miracles in the midst of forgotten faith, filled with political intrigue, forbidden romance, & dire stakes.

A BOND OF BRIARS is a YA dark fantasy retelling of Ruth, with fresh twists based on the original context & respun into a spooky cottagecore romance that is filled with dark magic & mysterious curses, sacrificial love & redemption.

... Read moreFor girls who love Jesus and crave fantasy stories that go beyond the typical, these novels offer a rare blend of faith and thrilling narrative. Rather than conventional YA fiction, which often relies on spicy romance or watered-down themes, these books provide a fresh perspective by retelling the Biblical stories of Esther and Ruth through a dark fantasy lens. The retelling of Queen Esther in "A Crown of Chains" introduces powerful political intrigue and forbidden romance amidst the backdrop of forgotten faith, offering readers an inspiring depiction of miracles and courage in times of despair. Likewise, "A Bond of Briars" reimagines the story of Ruth with dark magic, curses, and sacrificial love, wrapped in a cottagecore aesthetic that appeals to fans of spooky romance and redemption arcs. These stories are crafted to resonate deeply with readers who have experienced hardships, who understand the struggle of battling sin and doubt, but who hold fast to their faith. The books serve as a survival guide disguised as fantasy, gently urging readers to surrender all to Jesus even in the darkest moments. The characters’ journeys mirror the struggles and hopes of young Christian girls facing real-world challenges, showing that they are never alone or forgotten, just like Esther and Ruth were. These retellings encourage readers to close the book and open their Bible, bridging the gap between fiction and scripture. This dual experience enriches the reader's faith and understanding, making the stories not just entertainment but spiritual inspiration. They foster reflection on themes of grace, resilience, and divine purpose. Available on popular platforms like Amazon, Kindle Unlimited, and Barnes & Noble—with signed copies directly from the author—these novels appeal to those longing for meaningful YA fantasy that respects their values and faith. Hashtags such as #yadarkfantasy, #estherretelling, #ruthretelling, and #christianfantasy further connect the community of readers looking for this unique genre. If you love Jesus and want fantasy that is honest, deeply rooted in faith, and filled with suspense and heartfelt themes, these books are written just for you.
