Day 7 of My 30-Day Arm Challenge

I built this program myself, and I’m excited to see the strength and growth that comes from it.

Here’s the workout:

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Lateral Servers

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Around the Worlds

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Scarecrows

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Tricep Pulses

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Front servers

• 4 sets x 12 reps — Bicep Curls (last set = AMRAP)

Finished strong with 50 reps on the final bicep curl set 🔥. I have upped my weight for most exercises to 8 lbs. Still 5 lbs for around the worlds and scarecrows.

From personal experience, consistency is key—you don't need to rush the weights. Gradually increasing from 5 lbs to 8 lbs as you gain strength helps prevent injuries and promotes muscle growth. Incorporating diverse moves such as Lateral Servers, Around the Worlds, and Scarecrows targets different parts of the arms, improving overall definition and endurance. For example, Around the Worlds helps with shoulder mobility and stability while Bicep Curls focus on the front arm muscles for strength and shape. One tip I’ve found useful is focusing on form over speed. Although the workout calls for 4 sets of 12 reps, pushing your final set to AMRAP (as many reps as possible) can help break plateaus and signal your body to adapt. Don’t shy away from adjusting the reps and weights based on your day's energy and progress. Tracking my progress around Day 7, I noticed improved muscle activation and less fatigue during the sets compared to earlier days. It’s motivating to see such tangible growth, especially when pairing this routine with adequate rest, hydration, and balanced nutrition. If you have specific goals like managing PCOS symptoms or improving overall body image, consistent arm workouts can boost confidence and physical well-being. Remember, challenges like this are as much about mental growth as they are about physical gains. Celebrate small victories along the way and stay patient with your progress.
