Lessons learnt.

Your 20s feel like they should be the decade where everything falls into place. Instead, they’re often the years of questioning yourself, making mistakes, starting over, and learning the hard way.

If I could speak to my younger self, I’d say this: stop rushing. Not everyone is on the same timeline. Protect your peace, choose people who choose you, take care of your health, save your money, and don’t be afraid to walk away from what no longer serves you. Success means very little if it costs you your happiness.

Everything you’ve gone through is shaping the person you’re becoming. Trust the process… you will get there.

One crucial lesson I’ve learned is the importance of not comparing your progress to others. Everyone’s journey is unique—there will always be someone who seems ahead or behind, but running your own race is what truly matters. This mindset shift reduces unnecessary stress and allows you to focus on your personal goals without feeling pressured by external benchmarks. Another essential insight is recognizing who belongs in your life. Some people are only meant to be chapters, not the entire story. Learning to let go of relationships that no longer serve your well-being is not about erasing memories but making room for fresh, positive connections. This practice protects your peace and nurtures your emotional health. Success is often glamorized as the ultimate goal, but it becomes hollow if it costs your happiness or peace of mind. I’ve realized chasing promotions, money, or milestones is meaningless if it leads to constant anxiety or exhaustion. Prioritizing your mental and physical health is paramount—self-care isn't selfish, it's essential. Finally, trust the process even when life feels uncertain. The mistakes and hardships you face are shaping you into a stronger person. There’s no set timeline for success or fulfillment; what matters most is embracing your unique timeline and valuing the lessons learned along the way. By focusing on these principles, you cultivate resilience and a more fulfilling path forward.
