Beyond the endless laundry and school runs, I'm also navigating dual careers as a Medical Assistant and a Licensed Esthetician. People often ask, "How do you do it all?" and honestly, some days I'm still figuring it out! But let me tell you, it's a journey filled with laughter, lessons, and a whole lot of love. My mornings kick off early, usually before the sun even thinks about rising in McKenzie, TN. It's a race against the clock to get two little humans fed, dressed, and ready for school while also prepping myself for a demanding day. One minute I'm packing lunchboxes, the next I'm reviewing patient charts, and then I'm quickly applying a five-minute makeup routine. The trick? Planning as much as possible the night before and embracing the fact that perfection is overrated. Some days, their hair might be a little wild, or my coffee might be lukewarm, but we always make it out the door with smiles (most of the time!). Transitioning between my roles as a Medical Assistant and an Esthetician means constantly switching hats. In the clinic, I'm focused on patient care, assisting doctors, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. It's a precise and demanding environment. Then, I might shift to my esthetics practice, where the focus is on helping clients feel confident and beautiful. This is where my passion for inner and outer beauty truly shines. I love providing skin care treatments and sharing tips that empower others. Balancing these two professions requires meticulous scheduling and a deep understanding of time management, especially when you have two little ones waiting for you at home. The evenings are all about reconnecting with my girls. After school pickups, it's a whirlwind of homework, dinner prep, and often, sibling squabbles that require my referee skills! We try to make dinner a family affair, sharing stories about our day. Bedtime routines are sacred – storytime, cuddles, and tucking them in. It's these quiet moments that remind me why I push so hard. Seeing their happy faces makes every challenging moment worth it. Of course, being an Esthetician, I also believe in the importance of self-care, even for the busiest of moms. Finding even 15 minutes for myself – whether it's a quick face mask, a warm bath, or just enjoying a cup of tea in silence – is crucial for recharging. I often share simple beauty tips with other moms struggling to find time, like using multi-tasking products or creating a quick evening skincare ritual. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about feeling refreshed and ready to tackle another day. Living in McKenzie, TN, I'm lucky to have a supportive community and beautiful surroundings that help me find small moments of peace amidst the daily juggle. Each day is an adventure, but being a girl mom x2 and pursuing my passions truly makes my life full.
