I once heard a great tip from a 'feel like texting your ex?' guide: ask yourself, 'What outcome am I truly hoping for, and is texting realistically going to achieve it in a healthy way?' Often, the answer is no. This pause can give you the clarity needed to choose self-respect over temporary relief.
