... Read moreVisiting Florence truly feels like stepping into a living museum. Beyond the must-see landmarks like the Duomo, which dominates the skyline with its magnificent dome designed by Brunelleschi, there's so much more to uncover in this charming Tuscan city. One of my favorite experiences was wandering through the lesser-known piazzas tucked away from the busy tourist paths. These hidden gems often have quaint cafés and artisan shops that offer a more authentic taste of Florentine culture. Walking across the Ponte Vecchio, with its unique shops built along the bridge, you feel connected to a rich medieval past. Florence's art scene extends well beyond the Uffizi Gallery; street art and sculptures adorn many corners, blending contemporary creativity with classical influences. The local markets, especially the Mercato Centrale, are fantastic for tasting regional flavors, from fresh produce to handmade leather goods. Sunsets in Florence are magical, casting golden hues over the Arno River and city rooftops. This atmosphere makes Florence a perfect destination for both history buffs and travelers seeking a romantic, inspiring environment. Whether you’re soaking in the Renaissance splendor or enjoying the lively local scenes, Florence offers a dreamlike journey through time and beauty.

Things you can‘t miss when in Florence 🇮🇹
✨ cross the Ponte Vecchio No visit to Florence is complete without crossing the famous Ponte Veccio bridge at least once. Ponte Veccio is the oldest bridge in Florence and therefore the most well-known. Nowadays, you can find gold smiths and jewelry stores in the small houses on the bridge.
