Making peace with my poor gut house
How I plan to manage my poor gut health 👇🏻
Personally I experience bloating, fatigue, extremely low moods, binge eating / extreme cravings (which I’m wondering if the cravings & binge eating is more of a candida issue than SIBO🤔)
* Continuing my new SIBO specific supplements
* Staying low fodmap / gluten / dairy / refined sugar free 95% of the time (and being mindful of portions if I do choose to eat these things)
* Focusing on single ingredient / minimally processed foods
These are the main things I will be doing in the next month to manage my SIBO / poor gut health symptoms 😇
I also plan to do the @manalunalabs parasite cleanse when it comes in the mail… it’s on back order for the next 8/9 weeks 😤
That’s going to be another journey in itself 👀
It's incredible how much our gut health impacts our entire body, and I've certainly felt it firsthand. Beyond the immediate discomforts like bloating and low moods, I've truly come to understand how deeply gut imbalances can manifest physically. The OCR from my photos really resonated with me, highlighting how my "physical body becomes swollen" and "my clothes just start to get tight" when I deviate from my healing protocol or come off supplements. This isn't just vanity; it's a clear indicator of inflammation and internal struggle that profoundly affects my overall well-being and confidence. Many people embarking on a gut health journey initially focus solely on internal relief – reducing pain, improving digestion, boosting energy. However, the visible transformations are often just as impactful and incredibly motivating. When my gut is thriving, I notice a significant reduction in that general puffiness and swelling. My skin often gains a healthier glow, and I feel more comfortable in my own clothes, which is a huge win for my mental state as well. It’s a holistic change that makes a real difference in my daily life, helping me to feel more vibrant and present. This connection between our internal health and external appearance is something I wish more people understood — it's not just about what you eat, but how your body processes it, showing up in everything from your skin clarity to how you carry yourself. Speaking of holistic healing, I'm really looking forward to starting the Manaluna Labs parasite cleanse. It's currently on back order, but I'm patiently waiting for it to arrive! My persistent gut issues, especially the intense cravings and fatigue that sometimes feel insurmountable, make me wonder if there's an underlying factor that my current SIBO protocol isn't fully addressing. I've been researching extensively, and the idea of a parasite cleanse as a deeper reset for the gut has really captured my attention. From what I’ve gathered, many people find that stubborn symptoms like unexplained fatigue, skin issues, or even difficulty regulating appetite can sometimes be linked to opportunistic organisms that set up shop in our digestive system. While I'm not self-diagnosing, exploring every avenue feels crucial at this stage of my healing. My hope is that by incorporating this cleanse, I can target any potential hidden culprits and give my gut the most comprehensive support possible. It feels like another vital step in my journey to truly 'make peace with my poor gut house' and achieve lasting relief. I’ve read countless personal anecdotes about how addressing these deeper issues can lead to profound improvements, not just in digestion but in energy, mood, and even physical appearance. It’s all interconnected, and I’m committed to exploring every avenue to feel my absolute best. This journey isn't just about managing symptoms; it's about reclaiming my overall well-being and finding true, sustained comfort in my own body.
