... Read moreAnxiety is a prevalent mental health issue that can significantly impact one's daily life. The symptoms of anxiety manifest uniquely for each individual, but recognizing them is crucial for timely intervention. Common symptoms include excessive worry, which often entails persistent thoughts about various life aspects, leading to feelings of dread. Physical tension, another prominent symptom, can cause muscle tightness and restlessness, indicating the body's fight or flight response to perceived threats. Moreover, fatigue frequently accompanies anxiety, with individuals feeling drained despite minimal physical activity. This exhaustion can stem from the mental energy expended in coping with anxious thoughts. Irritability is also a key indicator; those experiencing anxiety may find themselves more prone to anger or frustration, disrupting relationships and daily routines. Sleep disturbances are another significant concern, as anxiety can lead to insomnia, disrupted sleep patterns, or restless nights, further exacerbating feelings of fatigue during the day. Cognitive symptoms, including difficulties with concentration, racing thoughts, and a constant sense of impending doom, signal that anxiety is affecting mental clarity and overall well-being. Recognizing these symptoms is the first step towards seeking help. Mental health professionals, such as psychologists and therapists, provide assessments and tailored treatment plans that can alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. It is essential to remember that you are not alone and reaching out for support is a courageous step towards managing anxiety effectively.

I’ve had and do have 2-6. I have been under a psychiatrist care for many years. But all they have done is prescribe medication. However, after having been assigned quite a few doctors, I believe I am now seeing a competent one!😍
