Found this quilt sham at an estate sale and I was not leaving without it. The patchwork, the worn edges, the history in it — you just don’t find fabric like that anymore. Brought it home and turned it into a tote bag because it deserved to actually be used, not sit in a drawer somewhere.

Screen doors, sweet tea, garden baskets and laundry on the line. We used to call that a perfect summer. Somewhere along the way we traded that in for busier and louder and faster and I think a lot of us are ready to trade back. Not for everything to be perfect. Just for it to feel like something
