Goomy cupcake!
Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share my latest piece of fan art – this super adorable Goomy cupcake drawing! When I first envisioned a Goomy-themed treat, I immediately thought of a soft, squishy muffin or cupcake, perfectly capturing Goomy’s delightful, gooey nature. It was so much fun bringing this little dragon-type Pokémon to life in a sweet, edible form, at least on paper! For this artwork, I really focused on making it look like a tasty, whimsical treat. I started with a vibrant red cupcake wrapper to give it a classic dessert feel. Then came the star: the cupcake itself, topped with rich, purple frosting to mimic Goomy’s main body color. I carefully added its signature green spots on the sides, giving it that unmistakable Goomy charm. The black eyes and that cute little pink tongue sticking out really bring its personality to the forefront! And of course, no Goomy cupcake would be complete without its distinctive two ear-like protrusions – I made sure these were prominent to truly capture its likeness. To add extra flair, I covered it in a scattering of colorful sprinkles, making it look extra festive and delicious. I also experimented with a stippled coloring technique to give the frosting and wrapper some lovely texture and depth. Drawing this made me wonder – how amazing would it be to actually bake a Goomy muffin or cupcake? If you're inspired to try making one, here are some ideas! For the purple frosting, you could use a blueberry or taro extract in your buttercream, or simply some purple food coloring. To get those green spots, consider small dots of green icing or even miniature green candies. For the black eyes and pink tongue, edible markers or carefully piped frosting would work wonders. And those ear-like protrusions? You could mold them from fondant or even pipe them with stiff royal icing. Don't forget a generous shower of colorful sprinkles on top! Imagine a fluffy vanilla or even a unique mochi muffin base, bursting with flavor, all tucked into a bright red cupcake wrapper. It would be such a fun project for a Pokémon-themed party or just a sweet treat for yourself. The possibilities are endless when you combine your love for Pokémon with baking! Creating fan art like this is such a joy because it lets you explore your favorite characters in new, imaginative ways. Whether you're drawing them, crafting them, or even baking them, it's a wonderful way to connect with the community and share your passion. I'd love to see if anyone tries to recreate this Goomy muffin in real life or even draws their own version! Share your thoughts in the comments below!
