yall know i LOVE mexican food 🇲🇽 and huevos is still my absolute favourite in sg 😌 but when i’m craving something more affordable without compromising on quality, this hawker stall is my go-to spot!
the chef used to be a head chef at chico loco, one of the more popular mexican restaurants in sg, so you can be assured the food here is authentic and legit 😉
i ordered some of my usuals (chicken curry nachos, burrito bowl) and also tried a couple of new items: the vegetarian otak taco and their salad bowl. i’ve raved about their nachos and burrito bowl many times hahaha so i won’t repeat myself.
for the salad bowl, it’s fully customisable but i stuck to the standard toppings (corn, trio veg, tomato salsa, dressing) and chose spiced chicken as my protein. the chicken was as massive as expected, yet still super tender and juicy 🍗🐔 they’ve never disappointed me with their portions! this was such a nutritious and balanced option which is quite rare to find in a hawker centre 🤓
their otak taco was another surprise. it’s vegetarian, yet had the same texture and flavour as regular fish otak, which blew my mind a little 🤯the best part? it’s only $4.50. super affordable and super delicious!
overall, i’m a sucker for cheap and good food, especially for cuisines you don’t usually find in hawker centres. this place is a real 💎 and yall should definitely try it out too :)
