Okay, so here we are at the grand finale of my ClassPass free trial adventure! It’s been an incredible journey trying out so many different workout classes in Orlando, and what a way to end it than with a session at CARVE Modern Pilates in Winter Park. If you've been following along, you know I've explored quite a few studios, from high-energy HIIT to various forms of Pilates, but CARVE truly left a lasting impression. My goal was to experience as many different ClassPass workouts in Orlando as possible, and this last stop definitely delivered. My final class was the Level 1 Slow-Twitch with Chyna, and it was a fantastic experience. One thing that immediately struck me about CARVE, similar to studios like Fit 407 and Jetset that I've also tried, is their focus on modern, reformer-style Pilates. However, CARVE’s approach felt distinctly more intentional. Chyna guided us through slow, controlled movements, often with four counts out and four counts in, which really forced me to engage my muscles deeply. It felt much closer to a more traditional Pilates class in its emphasis on precision and form, rather than just speed or high reps. The attention to detail in every single movement, from the major arm burnout to the leg work and core engagement, was truly impressive. I loved how well-rounded the workout was. We did everything – major arm burnout, serious leg work, and intense core engagement. The way we moved around the machine throughout the class kept things dynamic and ensured every muscle group was targeted. Despite being a Level 1 class, it was surprisingly intense! If you’re thinking of trying CARVE Pilates in Winter Park (you can find them at 344 W Fairbanks Ave!), I’d definitely recommend starting with Level 1, even if you’re experienced, just to get a feel for their unique flow and intentional pace. They also offer Level 2 classes focusing on specific areas like upper body or full body, which I'm now super curious to try. Comparing CARVE to some of the other modern Pilates studios I visited on ClassPass across Orlando and other parts of Florida, it really stood out for its mindful approach. While others might focus on quick transitions and a more cardio-driven pace, CARVE’s slow-twitch method felt incredibly effective for building strength and endurance without feeling rushed. It’s definitely a studio I’d come back to for a challenging yet thoughtful workout. And speaking of coming back, my ClassPass free trial has officially ended! This whole experience has been eye-opening, allowing me to discover so many amazing fitness communities in Orlando.
