SOCIAL MEDIA IN RELATIONSHIPS: YES OR NO?
everyone has their own rules in relationships. some people go as far as having “couples pages” while others haven’t even mentioned they’re in a relationship.
what’s your opinion? should couples be flaunting their relationships on social media? or are some things better left private?
I personally think there’s nothing wrong with showing off on social media, but I shouldn’t know when you two are going through a rough patch. leave the petty stuff behind.
what do you think?
Until next time:)~

In today's digital age, social media plays a significant role in how relationships are perceived and managed. Many couples choose to share their love life online, celebrating milestones and daily moments with their followers. This often creates a sense of connection and community but can also lead to misunderstandings and social pressure. It's important to recognize that while some might see social media as a platform for authentic sharing, others believe that such displays can lead to stress and unrealistic expectations. Some couples pride themselves on their 'couples pages', while others prefer to maintain a level of privacy regarding their relationship status. The key question remains: how much of your relationship should you put out there for the world to see? Experts suggest that setting boundaries is crucial. Partners should communicate about what they feel comfortable sharing online and what should remain private. This dialogue helps foster mutual respect and ensures that both individuals feel secure in their relationship, without the external pressures of social media. Furthermore, it's essential to consider the impact of online interactions on mental health. The tendency to compare oneself to the seemingly perfect relationships displayed online can lead to feelings of inadequacy and harm self-esteem. Ultimately, the decision rests with each couple. Balancing openness with discretion can lead to healthier relationships in the long run, allowing partners to enjoy their love without the weight of external judgment.

I prefer privacy, not secrecy. I’d like my partner to let social media know they’re not single and to post me every now and then(especially on bdays, anniversaries, etc.) but not know our business.
