It's such a fun and literal way to celebrate being precisely halfway through this incredible journey. For anyone wondering, 'half baked' in pregnancy simply refers to that magical 20-week point when your little one is literally 'cooking' for another 20 weeks before becoming fully done. It’s a playful and memorable way to mark the midpoint. When we started planning our announcement, we knew we wanted something unique that truly captured our excitement. The idea of a 'half baked baby' theme just clicked! We envisioned a cozy, themed setting right in our kitchen. We used flour to playfully spell out 'HALF BAKED!' on the counter, surrounded by baking ingredients and delicious cookies – it really set the scene! We even had a special 'Baby Casillas' onesie ready, which made for the perfect photo op alongside our precious ultrasound photos.
