What I Cooked for Thursday’s FIANN Community Dinner 🍽️❤️
Last night was another night of putting faith into action. 🙏🏽❤️
I prepared a homemade community dinner through Faith In Action News Network (FIANN) and took it out to serve members of our homeless and non-homeless community.
Every meal I prepare is about more than putting food on a plate. It’s about showing people that they are seen, they matter, and somebody cares. ❤️
I cook these meals from my own kitchen, prepare everything I can, pack it up, set up in the community, and serve. Donations are always welcome, but never required to receive a meal.
When donations are received, they go right back into helping FIANN continue serving the community with meals and other needed items.
🙏🏽 God is the CEO. I’m simply the Founder doing the work He placed on my heart.

Participating in community dinners like those organized by FIANN has truly changed my perspective on the power of food as a tool for connection and hope. Cooking from my own kitchen and delivering meals feels deeply personal—it’s not just about nourishment, but about making sure every person knows they are valued and deserving of kindness. When I prepare these dishes, I often think about how a warm meal can spark more than just physical comfort; it builds trust and opens doors for meaningful conversations. Serving through FIANN also highlights how donations play a critical role in sustaining this outreach. Every contribution directly supports resources to keep this cycle of giving alive, allowing more meals to be served to those in need. What stands out most to me is the dedication behind these efforts, where faith truly guides the mission. Seeing the smiles and gratitude in the community reinforces that these acts of service extend far beyond food—they’re about nurturing hope and dignity. If you’re inspired to get involved, whether by donating or volunteering, you’ll quickly realize how rewarding it is to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. The sense of community and shared humanity you experience is unforgettable. Embracing this volunteer work reminds me daily that kindness, faith, and action combined can transform lives one meal at a time.
