my ultimate productivity app for back-to-school

to anyone who found Notion too complicated to use, you need to check out xTiles! 🔍

it’s super easy to navigate, if you’re familiar with the basics of Notion, you will love xTiles for how simple everything is ✨

there’s no need to stress over complicated formulas in databases with this. I think it’s perfect for anyone looking for an app to use for note-taking, work, or even habit trackers! the free plan is sufficient for what I use it for!

💰 if you find yourself needing extra features, xTiles offers subscription plans that are cheaper than Notion!

🤍 the best feature has to be the customizability of their “tiles”! you can resize the tiles however you want, which makes it super easy to customize the size/dimensions of your images and widgets as well, and this is something notion can’t do!

🤍 also, the ability to change the title of links makes everything so much easier to browse! especially websites with long titles, I had to turn to button widgets and embed them in my notion before, but xTiles allows you to rename the link titles!!

(scroll through to see my xTiles setup for my 4th year!)

do you use xTiles? I would love to hear how you guys use it!

... Read moreAs students gear up for a new academic year, finding the right productivity app is crucial. Many newcomers might find Notion overwhelming due to its intricate setups and numerous features. Enter xTiles, a more user-friendly alternative designed for ease of use without compromising on functionality. One of xTiles' standout features is its customizability. Users can resize and arrange "tiles" to fit their unique workflow, making it easy to visualize notes, assignments, and tasks at a glance. The ability to change titles for links also adds a layer of organization that helps in quickly locating resources, especially when dealing with long URLs or complex project titles. This flexibility is especially beneficial for students managing multiple subjects and projects. In addition to its customization options, xTiles offers a free plan that's generally sufficient for most academic needs, allowing students to explore its features without financial commitment. For those requiring more advanced functionalities, the subscription options are cheaper than those offered by Notion, making it budget-friendly for students. Overall, xTiles supports students in organizing their academic life, facilitating note-taking, and providing a clearer overview of tasks and schedules while eliminating the needless complexity found in other platforms. If you're considering a productivity app for the upcoming school year, xTiles deserves a try. Have you started using xTiles yet? Share your experiences and setup strategies with the community!
