📞✨ Learning to hear God over the noise ✨🙏🏾

Sometimes God isn’t yelling.

Sometimes He’s speaking in the quiet.

In the pause.

In the stillness.

In the moments where we finally stop running long enough to listen. 🤍

This season of my life has been teaching me that not every answer comes instantly… but peace comes when you trust that God is already guiding your steps. 🌿

So lately?

I’ve been praying more.

Listening more.

Protecting my peace more.

And asking God to help me hear Him clearly over fear, confusion, and distractions. 💛

“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” ✨

... Read moreIn my own journey of faith, I've realized that the most profound spiritual encounters often happen not in moments of loud revelation, but in the gentle whispers of silence. Learning to hear God over the noise requires intentional quiet time, where distractions are minimized and the heart is open to listen. I struggled deeply with anxiety for a long time, and like many, I sought immediate answers to my fears. But through practicing stillness and embracing quiet time, I found that peace began to replace my confusion. Drawing inspiration from teachings like Joyce Meyer’s insights on overcoming anxiety, I understood that God’s guidance often comes slowly, inviting us to trust the process. Prayer became my anchor—not rushed or demanding, but sincere and patient. I asked God to help me discern His voice among the fears and doubts that clouded my mind. Protecting my peace meant saying no to overwhelming noise, negative influences, and anything that distracted me from listening. I also learned that spiritual growth is a season. Some days were harder—filled with waiting and uncertainty—but trusting that God’s footsteps were already laid before me changed my perspective. The stillness was not empty but full of His presence, gently nudging me forward. For anyone navigating similar feelings of anxiety and spiritual seeking, I encourage embracing quiet time as a daily practice. Allow yourself to pause, breathe, and invite God’s voice in the calm. It’s a journey of faith, trust, and healing where peace truly begins when we listen closely with hearts ready to hear.

It defines discernment as understanding good/evil and thinking like God, lists Bible verses (Psalm 119:125, Acts 17:11), and explains how to receive it through prayer, Scripture, obedience, and removing judgment. It also provides biblical examples from John, Romans, and Hebrews.
