Nursing Burn Out
Guess what? Nursing is stressful and it’s super easy to get burnt out. Here are some tips to help reduce your burnout.
•Participate in self care activities. One of my favorites is to go get my nails done or go on a little shopping spree!
•Maintain a work-life balance can also help to reduce or help you avoid burnout. The key is to set boundaries and maintain them!
•Having a healthy support system can be crucial to overcoming burnout and work stressors. My nursing family is just that- FAMILY! We see each other through the hard times as well as the great times. I also speak to counselors since I do a few super stressful things (volunteer fire/EMS, L&D, hospice).
