1 year in as Gen Z tower

Ive worked 48 hrs straight back in my earlier days in this industry. What I've learned in this 1 year? I had faced tons and tons of backfires, challenges. I fell many times, but I didn't give up. And I'm still trying to improve myself, in everyway possible insha'allah.

Its really not easy. Being the only Gen Z in my company

... Read moreBeing the only Gen Z in a workplace can be both isolating and empowering. From my experience, it’s about finding a balance between embracing your youthful perspective and adapting to the company culture. Early on, I remember working 48 hours straight, driven by determination to prove myself. That taxing period taught me the importance of resilience and mental endurance. Gen Z often brings fresh ideas, especially in digital and social media realms, but sometimes struggles to be heard in established environments. One approach that helped me was seeking mentorship within the company, even if my mentors were from older generations. Their guidance provided valuable insights and helped bridge the generational gap. I also learned that persistence was key—falling down didn’t mean failure, but an opportunity to learn and improve. Challenges such as encountering repeated setbacks or being the youngest in meetings pushed me to develop communication and professional skills faster. Sharing my unique perspective sometimes sparked innovation, benefiting team projects significantly. However, it’s not always smooth—balancing work-life boundaries, avoiding burnout, and handling misconceptions about my generation's work ethic were ongoing struggles. If you’re a Gen Z individual stepping into a traditional workplace, my advice is to stay confident and patient. Embrace lifelong learning, build strong networks, and don’t be afraid to share your insights respectfully. Over time, you’ll find ways to contribute meaningfully and grow both personally and professionally. Remember, every challenge faced is a stepping stone toward mastering your career path—insha’allah.

Vibin' thru chaos as Gen Z
What’s life really like attending road accidents as a tower? People only see the flashing amber lights and the tow truck. They don’t see the 3am phone calls. The rain. The blood. The tears. The silence after the crash. Every accident scene tells a different story. Some drivers are a
