... Read moreDuring my trip to Fukuoka, I had the chance to try Unagi Don at Hakata Mabushi Misora, located in the vibrant Tenjin area. The dish was a perfect blend of tender grilled eel glazed with a savory-sweet sauce over perfectly steamed rice. It’s one of those meals that really sticks with you for its rich yet balanced flavor. If you're planning to shop at nearby Iwataya mall, make sure to ask for the foreigner discount card. This little tip helped me save quite a bit on my purchases, which made the overall experience even better. The mall offers a wide range of shops from fashion to traditional goods, so it’s an excellent spot for both shopping and dining. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant and the efficient service. The staff were attentive and happy to provide guidance on the menu, which is great if you’re not familiar with Japanese cuisine. This combination of great food, convenience, and savings makes Hakata Mabushi Misora a top spot to visit in Fukuoka. If you love authentic Japanese cuisine and want to try a dish that locals highly recommend, I definitely suggest adding Unagi Don at Hakata Mabushi Misora to your Fukuoka itinerary. It’s a flavorful culinary experience that highlights the city's rich food culture.
