... Read moreDining at a Japanese Omakase offers a special blend of artistry and tradition, providing guests with a curated tasting menu that highlights seasonal and premium ingredients. At Goodwood Park, the inclusion of unique offerings like uni crabmeat starter introduces a rich umami flavor that sets the tone for the meal. The tofu with grated yam topped with ikura adds both texture and a fresh burst of the sea, complementing the delicate taste of the tofu. One standout dish is the amaebi caviar Aburi, where sweet shrimp is lightly seared (aburi style) to enhance its flavors, paired with luxurious caviar that elevates the dish to a decadent level. Wagyu beef don offers a rich and tender experience, reflecting the high quality of the Wagyu used, perfectly balanced with the simplicity of rice. Chirashi Aburi don brings together lightly seared assorted sashimi over sushi rice, giving a warm, smoky aroma that contrasts beautifully with fresh seafood. Lastly, seaweed negitoro uni provides a delightful combination of seaweed’s saltiness, the creamy texture of minced tuna (negitoro), and the smooth richness of uni, making it a memorable finish. Omakase dining is not just about the food but also the experience of trusting the chef’s selection and presentation. This personalized approach makes every bite a discovery and enhances appreciation for Japanese culinary craftsmanship. If you enjoy exploring nuanced flavors and expert techniques, this Omakase journey at Goodwood Park is a must-try for both seasoned sushi lovers and newcomers alike.

Value for money omakase!
🤩 $115 for 11 courses, premium ingredients like Hokkaido Oysters, A5 Wagyu, Uni, and fresh sashimi is really value for money. Local chef, non-traditional hole in the wall spot. Definitely better than average for this price range, and would recommend the restaurant to non-Japanese food snobs!

Not kidding — S$24 for an Omakase-level experience
Tried their lunch set and the whole table was filled like a mini feast. Can’t believe S$24 per pax can feel this premium ✨ 💡 Highlights: • Vibes: Super cozy Japanese izakaya feel — wooden interiors, counter grill, and there’s literally no cashier. It feels like a place only regulars know about.

New Omakase in JB!!
Thought it was gonna be one of those “just for the vibe” omakase places, but this one was actually solid. The whole experience felt really comfortable, not too formal, not too overwhelming. Every dish felt well thought out, and the pacing of the course was just nice from start to finish.
