How I Finally Stopped My Hair from Falling Out

For months, I was losing so much hair — it felt scary.

Nothing changed overnight, but small habits made a BIG difference. Here’s what truly helped me:

• Started drinking more water every morning (hydration = healthier roots)

• Added collagen and biotin supplements daily

• Massaged my scalp with warm coconut oil 2–3x a week

• Switched to a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo

• Started eating more protein (hair is made of protein!)

• Reduced stress by walking outside and practicing deep breathing

• Prioritized sleep — at least 7 hours a night

• Added more iron-rich foods (like spinach and lentils) to my meals

Consistency was everything.

Now, my hair feels stronger, fuller, and so much healthier!

If you’re struggling, don’t give up — little daily habits can truly transform your hair health.

I switched to Avalon Organics shampoo—it’s free from parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, and other harsh chemicals. I’ve been using the Biotin B-Complex one and my scalp feels so much better now! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something gentle and more natural.

Factors such as hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies, and stress often contribute to thinning hair. Topical treatments containing ingredients like minoxidil can stimulate growth, while dietary supplements rich in vitamins such as biotin, vitamin D, and iron are essential for fortifying hair structure. Incorporating omega-3 fatty acids through sources like fish or flaxseed oil may also enhance hair health. Consulting with a dermatologist can provide personalized insights and treatment options tailored to your specific needs. Exploring scalp health routines, such as regular exfoliation and weekly nourishing masks, can greatly complement your existing practices. Maintaining a balanced diet and being mindful of overall health are key in fostering stronger, fuller hair. Don’t hesitate to seek support from communities focused on hair care; they can be invaluable during your hair restoration journey.

I take Biotin 2x to 3x a week and Magesium Glycinate to help me sleep. The other Magnesium causes diarrhea, so I avoid it like the plague. You need to feed your insides first. And Pumpkin seeds also help, saw that on the Doctor's TV show
