I Became a Certified Pharmacy Tech for Free!👩🏼‍⚕️💊

When I started working at the pharmacy, I had no prior experience—just a willingness to learn. I picked things up quickly and ended up becoming really good at what I do 💊✨

📘 PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician

My pharmacy paid for my PTCB exam (which normally costs around $129), and I passed on my first try! Getting certified opened up more opportunities and helped me grow so much in my role. Many retail pharmacies will hire you with no experience and provide you with materials/ classes

and pay for you to take your exam to become certified! Certification also gives you a pay raise! 💸

My job also pays to renew your certification when expired!

💉 Immunization & First Aid + CPR Certified

I also completed training in immunization and got First Aid + CPR certified, which gave me the confidence to step up during flu season and in urgent situations. ($149)

These certifications are a great way to expand your career, help you stand out, and look amazing on your resume—especially in healthcare. 🙌🏽

If you’re just starting out or thinking about a career in pharmacy or healthcare—this is your sign. You don’t need experience to succeed, just the opportunity and drive! 🩺♥️

Any questions feel free to drop them down below!👇

... Read moreIn the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, becoming a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) can open up numerous opportunities, especially for those willing to learn and grow in the field. With many retail pharmacies offering to cover the costs for certification exams like the PTCB, aspiring technicians can embark on a rewarding career without the burden of high upfront costs. The process of certification typically includes a comprehensive preparatory phase where candidates can receive training provided directly by their employers. This can include both classroom learning and hands-on experience, making the transition into the role seamless for those who may lack previous healthcare experience. Notably, certification not only boosts one’s resume but can also lead to significant salary increases, with many employers offering financial support for certification renewals. In addition to regular certification, obtaining skills in immunization and First Aid + CPR training can greatly enhance one’s employability and confidence in a pharmacy setting. Having these certifications enables pharmacy technicians to contribute effectively during critical times such as flu seasons or health emergencies. This career path not only aids in personal and professional growth but also allows individuals to make a positive impact on their community's health. For anyone considering this avenue, the message is clear: seizing available opportunities can lead to impressive career advancements in the healthcare sector. Don't hesitate to take that first step toward a fulfilling career as a pharmacy technician!
