PSA: God is a provider.
This morning I was reading about the Israelites being freed from slavery and led into the wilderness by Moses and Aaron. The Israelites were complaining of hunger.
Then the lord spoke to Moses and said “I am going to rain bread from heaven for you.”
Let’s pause there. Reread what the lord said.
“I am going to rain bread from heaven for you.”
keep re reading that until you get that into your spirit.
We all know that God is a just God. So if God can make bread rain from heaven- why can’t he pour out blessings for you in your life?
If he provided daily bread for the Israelites, why can’t he provide for you?
Sometimes we tend to overlook the small miracles, or we think that those type of blessings can’t apply to us.
Testimony time, the other weekend I took my 5 small children to breakfast. I typically don’t take them out to eat alone frequently because - well it can be a lot.
I pressed through anyway because my kids really wanted to go to a restaurant for breakfast so I took them.
I’m sure I said “don’t touch that, sit down, don’t hit your brother etc etc “ like a thousand times. ( mamas that get it, get it) anyhoo, as we were finishing up I asked the waitress for our check, and she goes to say “ someone has already paid for your meal. “
I literally could have cried. That has never happened to me. Ever. God saw my heart. If anyone knows me, they know that my biggest goal in life is to be the best mother to my kids. Being a single mom of 5 can be hectic sometimes. I try to appreciate the small moments because I know they don’t last long. However it can be a little overwhelming. So the fact that God blessed me in the midst of my chaos really blessed me.
I’m here to let you all know that God sees you. God is no respecter of person. What he can do for anyone else he can do for you. Learn to trust him. Through everything. He is faithful. ♥️
