Regular movement helps balance hormones naturally; it reduces cortisol levels—the stress hormone—allowing your hormonal system to operate more harmoniously. This balance is critical for healthy ovulation cycles. Moreover, working out consistently enhances insulin sensitivity, which is particularly important if you’re managing conditions like PCOS that affect fertility. Better insulin regulation helps maintain a stable hormonal environment conducive to conception. Sleep quality and mood also improve with consistent fitness, as physical activity promotes the release of endorphins and regulates your circadian rhythm. Good sleep and emotional wellbeing are often underestimated but crucial pillars for fertility health. Another essential factor is listening to your body.
