God Got Us
I remember a time when I felt completely overwhelmed, like life was throwing one challenge after another my way. It was easy to feel alone and wonder if I had the strength to keep going. But then, a quiet truth resonated within me: "God has His hands on you." This phrase isn't just a comforting thought; it's a profound promise that has truly transformed my perspective and kept me grounded through so many storms. For me, understanding that God has His hands on you means more than just being protected from harm. It signifies a divine partnership, an assurance that every step I take, every hurdle I face, is under His watchful eye. It’s about knowing that even when things feel chaotic or unfair, there’s a greater plan unfolding, and I am held securely within it. This isn't to say life becomes problem-free – far from it! But the difference is in how you navigate those problems. Instead of panic, there's a deep-seated peace; instead of despair, there's a hopeful anticipation of His work. One aspect of this divine protection that truly hit home for me comes from that powerful reminder: 'When God has His hands on you, He will handle those who put their mouth on you.' Wow, talk about a relief! There have been moments where I’ve felt misunderstood, judged, or even unfairly criticized. My immediate reaction used to be to defend myself, to argue, to try and change perceptions. But when I truly embraced the idea that God is my ultimate defender, I learned to let go. It wasn't about ignoring negativity, but about entrusting it to a higher power. It’s about not needing to fight every battle, because you have the strongest ally. This isn't about being passive, but about choosing peace over conflict, knowing that vindication or resolution will come in His time and His way. That shift changed everything for my mental peace and emotional well-being. So, how do we cultivate this kind of unwavering faith? For me, it's a daily practice. It involves spending time in prayer, not just asking for things, but truly listening and connecting. It means diving into scripture, finding verses that speak to my heart and remind me of His promises. Building a strong community of fellow believers has also been invaluable – people who can lift you up, share their own experiences, and remind you of God's faithfulness when your own faith might waver. Reflecting on past blessings, even the small ones, helps too. Remembering how God has come through before builds confidence for future challenges. Living with the conviction that God has His hands on you brings an incredible sense of freedom. It frees you from the need to control every outcome, from the crippling fear of the unknown, and from the burden of carrying all your anxieties alone. It allows you to approach each day with a sense of purpose and resilience, knowing that you are deeply loved, eternally guided, and completely protected. It's a journey of continuous trust, and honestly, it's the most practical way I've found to live a truly healthy and peaceful life, even in 2024 and beyond.

When the battle is bigger than you, the battle is not yours. Just be still. 🙏❣️🙏
